The DETOX unit is staffed 24 hours a day by nurses and an on-call physician. Clients are kept medically stable during withdrawal in a secure environment with a minimum of medication. Fees are based on a sliding scale for clients who qualify, and a variety of insurance policies are accepted. DETOX staff educates and encourages clients to continue with outpatient or residential treatment.

• The DETOX unit has 7 beds in the men’s ward, 6 beds in the women’s ward, and 1 short-stay bed.
• Vital signs are taken twice a day, and medications are strictly monitored by the DETOX unit staff.
• Daily schedules include attending group therapy and Drug/Alcohol Education groups.
